Eliza married her second husband, Eli Franklin Goodwin, in Laclede County, Missouri, in 1849 and had two daughters -- Mary Susan Goodwin in 1850 and Clarissa C. Goodwin in 1851. When her girls were just five and six years old, Eliza died. She is believed to be buried in the first plot of Row 5, marked with only a fieldstone. Eli Goodwin is buried in the second plot and his second wife on his other side.
