Born Aug. 21, 1899 in Adams County to James and Emma Cook Hull, he married Cora B. Morris on Dec. 18, 1920 in Galesburg. She died Jan. 20, 1975. One son, Russell E, one sister, and two brothers also preceded him in death.
He had a surviving son, of rural Viola and a daughter of Swan Creek
