" Myer, Scottie G. (1912-2008) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother Scottie at Union Villa in Unionville, Ontario, on Thursday, July 10, 2008. Scottie was the beloved wife of the late Gordon G. Myer and loving mother of Rob Myer of Toronto and Ginny Flanigan (Jim) of Simcoe, Ontario, and loving grandmother of Emily Sternberg (Arlen) and Julia Myer of Toronto. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Our thanks to the staff of Union Villa who took good care of Mom in her last few years. Cremation has already taken place, and there will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 22, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 95 Lot St., Simcoe. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory made to Unionville Home Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family."
