Chester Dale Moore, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
Chester was born March 19, 1938 in Dell City, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Mary Alice (Odell) Moore. He grew up around the Pleasant Hill area and attended school in Sunset. He started roofing in the late 1950's, which later evolved into Chester Moore and Sons. He married Sandy Wells on September 28, 1961 in Wichita Falls. He liked to read his Bible and listen to gospel music. Chester was an avid outdoorsman-enjoying hunting, fishing, and family fish fries. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Jean Moore; two grandsons, Devin Moore and Justin Teeters; twelve brothers; one sister.
He is survived by his children, Mike Moore and wife, Carroll Ann, Kevin Moore and wife, Rachel, Kim Teeters and husband, Jim, and Latrisha Rosinbaum and husband, Ben, all of Bowie; seven grandchildren, Sandra Beckham and husband, Orrin, Dillon Moore, Garrett DeMoss, Christin DeMoss, Lantz Moore, Luke Moore, and Justin Moore, all of Bowie; two brothers, Richard Moore and wife, Edna of Wichita Falls and Bonnie Moore and wife, Betty of Bowie; numerous nieces and nephews.
