Born March 23, 1864, in Croyle Township, daughter of Peter and Margaret (Shrif) Long. United in marriage November 23, 1884, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany.

Preceded in death by husband, George, in 1914, and four children - Raymond, Celestine, Rubert Benedict and Vincent Frederick.

Survived by these children: Peter S., Braddock; Frances Barbara, wife of Charles Hettle, and Marie Priscilla, wife of John Sloan, both of Summerhill; Clare Mathilda Betz, New York, and Colletta, wife of A. J. Wess, Summerhill; these sisters: Mrs. Mathilda Long, Summerhill; Mrs. Joseph Smithbower and Mrs. Peter Holtz, both of Patton; Mrs. Martin Betz, Sidman R.D., and Mrs. Joseph Smith, Patton R.D.; also 22 grandchildren.

Member of Altar and Rosary Society of St. John's Catholic Church, Summerhill.

Friends received in late home after 7 p.m. Friday. Other arrangements, in charge of Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, South Fork, incomplete.
