ALLISON-LIVINGSTON - Mrs. Ida Mae, 97, Windber, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ March 4, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, Downtown Campus. Born August 27, 1908, in Beaverdale, daughter of the late Irvin T. and Susan A. (Crum) Wherry. Also preceded in death by first husband, Herman W. Livingston; second husband, Russell Allison; brothers, Thomas, William, James and Lester Wherry; sisters, Jessie Corle, Lucy Karashin, Blodwyn Chapman, Bessie, Mary Ann, Lillian and Clara Wherry; son-in-law, Ken Walker Jr.; and grandson, Mark Walker.

Survived by son, Thomas L. Livingston, Bedford; daughter, Shirley M. (Livingston) Walker; and stepdaughter, Ella Ellis, both of Windber. Also survived by grandson, David Walker, and granddaughter, Katrina Walker; and Tammy Lamer, who were her caregivers. Sister of Wilbert W. Wherry, Geistown, and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also survived her beloved pet dog, Penny.

Ida Mae was a member of the auxiliaries to American Legion Post 137, Windber, and former Hunter-Weaver Post 495, Scalp Level. Former member of Roxbury UMC and current member of Calvary UMC, Windber, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Gary Grau, pastor, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, and one hour prior to service at the church.
