Mr. Daniel was born in Miami, Oklahoma and moved to Abilene in 1932. He married Jo Ann Lancelot in Enid, Oklahoma June 13, 1942. He was a Veteran of the Army Air Corp during WWII. He owned D & D Sales and Service at 209 Grape for 11 years. He lived in Houston for 18 years where he was service manager for the Volvo factory. He moved to Durango, Colorado for several years, then to Bloomington, Minnesota for several years. He moved to Belton, Texas in 1980 where he operated a small engine sales and service company. He retired in 1986. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Belton, Texas and a member of the Abilene Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Daniel of Temple; three daughters, Freda Neill of Merkel; Bobbye Casner of Houston; Leesa Lawrence of Houston; one son, Eugene Daniel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
