Ben S. Levi, 71, of Zirconia, died on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Margaret R. Pardee Hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County he was born on October 2, 1940 to the late Dennis Levi and Lola Ward Levi. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Sherman Levi.
After graduation from Flat Rock High School, Ben served in the United States Army. After being Honorably Discharged, Ben returned work for Cranston Print Works. He was a member of Tuxedo Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Becky; his two sons, Sean Levi and his wife, Tiffany, of Tuxedo; Brent Levi and his wife, Stephanie of Indian Trail; his daughter, Krista Marshall and her husband, Chad, of Hendersonville; his four grandchildren, Arliss Levi of Tuxedo, Cora and Caleb Marshall of Hendersonville, Julia Levi of Indian Trail; his siblings, Betty McCall, Lelan Levi, and Auberine Goins, all of Tuxedo.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel with Reverend Mikell Bennett officiating. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
