John Allen Freeman, 83 died Monday at a Lincoln hospital. Freeman the son of the nation's first homesteader, Daniel Freeman and Elizabeth Agnes Suiter Freeman, lived in Lincoln since 1924. He was a retired Beatrice farmer. He is survived by widow Irene, daughter Mrs. Paul O. Cummins of Oklahoma City, OK. Brothers; Samuel Freeman of Howells, NE and Le Claire Freeman of Beatrice and sister, Mrs. Agnes Quackenbush of Ashland, OR.
