SWEENEY, CHRISTIANNA HUMPHREYS, 95, died at the McGaw Health Center in Evanston, IL on February 14, 2000. She was a 69 year resident of Margate prior to moving to Evanston, IL. She was the wife of the late George Edward (Mike) Sweeney.
Surviving are her children, Christianna Bell and her husband William of Jenkintown, PA; George Edward Jr. and his wife Virginia of Phoenix, AZ; and Mary Susanne Murphy and her husband William of Wilmette, IL; her sister Susanne Bolan, Sarasota, FL. and her nephew Edward B. (Ned) Humphreys of Margate. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Humphreys, II. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 11 AM at Margate Community Church, 6900 Ventnor Ave., Margate, NJ 08402. Visitation 10:30 AM. Burial private. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Margate Community Church at the above address. Arrangements by Jeffries & Keates Funeral Home, Northfield.
