Carla J. (Peterson) Sullivan, 57, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away quietly in her home on Wednesday, Nov. 5, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 25 years, Gerald J. Sullivan; a son, Rick S. Phillips and his wife Caroline of Brookfield; three grandsons, Matthew, her godson, Scott and Adam all of Brookfield; her mother, Ann (Cook) Peterson of Worcester; two sisters, JoAnn Gosslin of Worcester and Gail Sheehan of Auburn. She was born in 1946 in Worcester, daughter of Carl Joseph Peterson and graduated from Commerce High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Peterson Oil Company. She was an avid genealogist and belonged to two genealogy societies, S.A.R.A. and M.S.O.G. She loved camping and numerous crafts. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
A Funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from LINDQUIST FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Auburn District Nursing Assoc. 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn 01501.
