Nina Bernice Conrad 1987 Halifax Herald

Nina Bernice Conrad, 70, of Upper LaHave, Lunenburg County, died Monday, January 19, in Harbour View Haven Rest Home.

She was born in Chelsea, Lunenburg County, and was a member of the New Canada Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie; two sons, Donald and Dougald, both of Lower Branch; three sisters, Annie (Mrs. Robert Stewart); Nita (Mrs. Herman Hyatt), and Madge (Mrs. Mansel Meade), all of Italy Cross; a brother, St. Clair Crouse, Charlston; two half-sisters, Bertha Manthorne, Liverpool; Joyce Doucette, Campbellford, Ontario; a half-brother, Kingsford MacLean, Liverpool; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two grandchildren; a half-brother, Jack MacLeod; and a sister, Vilda Ross.

The body is in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Canada Baptist Church.
