Graveside services for Dean M. Hodges, 88, of Tyler are scheduled for 3:30 P.M., Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Rev. Stephanie Scott officiating.
Mr. Hodges passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Tyler.
He was born on July 21, 1922 in Chelan, Washington to the late Marvin Penson and Gertrude Shearer Hodges. He served in the U. S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant from 1943-1945. He was an engineer for Exxon from 1957-1986 and has lived in Tyler since 1989. He was a member of Pollard United Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Hodges Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Williamson Hodges of Tyler; sons, Glenn Hodges and his wife, Susan Nichols Hodges of Fair Oaks Ranch and Paul Hodges and wife Dr. Christine Ku MD of Santa Rosa, CA.
