April LaNette Dean passed away on October 20, 2011 at University Hospital in Lexington. Visitation will be Monday from 3-7pm at Porter & Sons Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday at St. Paul Church of God In Christ in Lexington. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born April 3, 1975, April was a lifetime resident of Lexington, employed as a teacher's assistant with Holmes County Schools. She is a graduate of Liberty University and J.J. McClain High School. She was an active member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ, working faithfully with the children's ministry. She is survived by her son, William "Terrell" Dean; her brothers, Kenneth (Lucille) and Keith (Ann) Dean-Dean Memorial Funeral Home, her sister, Kimberly (Brian) Dorsey, five nephews, one niece, and countless friends.
