Lester Anthony Bitter, residing at 321 East Jefferson St, an employee of the American Telephone and Telegraph Co. at Bogart for the past four months, died at Provldence Hospital at 3 p. m. Friday after an illness of one week, aged 31 years, seven months and 24 days.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bitter, and one brother, Norman J. Bitter, of this city, and many other relatives and friends.
For a number of years Mr. Bitter, was employed in the offices of the Western Union telegraph company here. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The body was removed to the Frey Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence this afternoon where friends may call.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 8:30 a. m. at the residence with services at St. Mary's Church at 9 a. m., the Rev. C. J. Dobmyer, officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery.
