Mrs. Alice Mae Zahn Platt, 90, of 923 King Street, died in Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital, Saginaw, Mich., at 3:35 p.m. Saturday. She had been in ill health six years, and hospitalized 10 days. Born at Colfax, she lived most of her life in the Lafayette area. In 1906 she was married to John L. Platt, a carpenter. He died in 1954. Mrs. Platt was a member of First Christian Church and gold Star War Mothers. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Delores Marble of Saginaw, Mich., Mrs. Anita Richardson of Pontiac, Mich., and Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Ferneding of Cloverdale; a son, James E. Platt of Lafayette; and one brother, Charles Zahn of Lafayette. Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two sons, Francis and John, preceded her in death.
