Beyer - Anna C., 94, Frankstown Road, Sidman, died January 10, 1998 at home. Born October 13, 1903, in Parkstown, Conemaugh Township, the daughter of Otto and Catherine (Schellhammer) Senft.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Marcellus Vincent Beyer, who died February 13, 1965; son, Modestus J.; grand-daughter, Valerie Lynch; grandson, Leroy James Beyer; sisters Sophie Bader, Freida Stegman and Genevieve Lintner; brother, Albert "Dutch" Senft.

Survived by these children: Herman, married to Bertha Chmelarsky, Duncansville; Richard, married to Marlene Croyle, Sidman; Dolores, wife of Robert Taylor, Altoona; Martha, wife of Harold Sedlmyer, Las Vegas, Nev.; Edward, married to Shirley Cekella, Sidman; Vincent, married to Irene Holsopple, Sidman; Patricia Cochran, Las Vegas, Nev.; Robert at home; Jean, wife of Peter Duffy, Sidman; and Shirley, wife of Thomas Wantanabe, Maui, Hawaii; also daughter-in-law, Shirley I. Beyer, Sidman; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sister of John Senft and Catherine Senft, both of Johnstown; also many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beyer was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Summerhill, and its Altar and Rosary Society; Prince Gallitzin Ladies Court Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus; and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association. She was a life-time dairy farmer.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, followed by Rosary at 3:30 p.m. by the Altar and Rosary Society. Prince Gallitzin Ladies Court will recite Rosary at 7 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Summerhill, by Father Daniel Wolfel, O.S.B. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, New Germany.
