HARRISON, Julia C. - of Clio, age 86, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. B. Gillespie officiating with burial at West Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-9pm and Tuesday from 9-12pm and 2-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Julia was born May 17, 1921 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to the late Joel and Caroline (Rates) Allen. She had resided in the Clio area since 1966. Julia married Victor E. Harrison on January 10, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1971. She was employed with AC Spark Plug for over 30 years, retiring in 1981. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, painting and spending time with her family.
