TORRINGTON – Rita Mae Warren, 81, formerly of Winsted, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Alex Warren who died in 2006. Born on Jan. 15, 1930, in South Hadley Center, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Newman and Viola (Guille) Henry.
Her survivors include two children, Frederick H. Macker III and Denise Badger both of Winsted and a grandson, Ray Badger.
Graveside services will be held in Winchester Center Cemetery on Tuesday at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours.
