Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of Andrew and Catherine (Scheidegeer) Krapf.
She was employed as a layout operator at Western Electric for 30 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon L., wife of Peter J. Heizmann, Mt. Penn, Berks Co.; three brothers Donald Krapf of Tamaqua, Paul Krapf of Allentown, and George Krapf of Baltimore, MD; three sisters Fern Tonkin of Coaldale, Regina Evans of Tamaqua, and Claire Hollenbach of Tamaqua; three grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
The Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
