Robert R. Rea Called by Death; Rites Wednesday

Robert Right Rea died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at his home, 614 east Second street following an extended illness. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Rea was born in Madison and was educated in the city schools and high school. He served for many years as a registered pharmacist at the J.E.C.F. Harper and Company drug store.

He was a member of the four local Masonic bodies was a past master of Union lodge F. & A.M.; a past high priest of Madison Chapter Royal Arch Masons; a past illustrious master of Madison Council Royal and Select Masons, and a past eminent commander of Madison Commandery Knights Templar. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite Masons, Indiana York Cross of Honor, and an honorary member of Shelbyville, Ky., commandery, Knights Templar.

Mr. Rea was married in 1906 to Laura J. Rea who survives together with two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rea Healey, wife of Max Healey, of Greens Farms, Conn., and Miss Margaret E. Rea, of Lisbon, Portugal; also two grand-daughters, Ann and Patsy Healey. Another daughter, Emily Harper Rea, preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Christ Episcopal church, in charge of Rev. Robert Board. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the Vail Memorial funeral home after 9:00 o'clock tomorrow morning.
