Mahlon Johnson was born in Rummerfield, Pennsylvania, on February 16, 1882, to George W. Johnson and Katie Elizabeth Johnson. He married Maude Flossie Chilson on July 31, 1923. Sadly she died about six months later of burns suffered when her clothes caught fire. He later married Angie Clara Herman and together they had 14 children. Daddy died in 1953 when I was 4 years of age.
