Margaret Peirce Dean, 80, of Provo, died September 9, 1997, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. She was born in Springville, Utah, December 13, 1916, to Junius Madison and Ann Jane Ballantyne Peirce. She married Charles Edwin Dean, Jr., December 24, 1943, in Denver, Colorado. The marriage was solemnized December 17, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband, two sons: Robert Charles (Shi) Dean, Logan, Utah; and Allan Peirce (Lola) Dean, Tempe, Arizona; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters: Evelyn Fry, Naomi McKenzie and Joyce Sayer, all of Springville. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Burial was September 12, 1997.
