Angel of God, my Guardian dear,
To whom His love commits me here;

Ever this day be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.

********

Do believe I'll never leave you:
Always I'll be in your heart.
Don't forget my soul is near you,
And so we'll never be apart.

As the days come and go and the world moves on,
I know you're still here, you'll never be gone.

On the night the Angel came and took your hand,
We cried as you left for an unknown land.

But Heaven rejoiced as you came into sight,
For your soul was a diamond, shining so bright!

My Heart still ache in sadness,
and secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane.
I would walk right up to heaven,
To bring you home again.

Those we have in our arms,
for a little while,
we hold in our hearts forever..

Until we meet again,
find peace in heavens hands!

I Love You Daddy!

Aksel Jensen Skov were one of a kind. He was my Dad and my best friend. He died too soon and i misses him every day. The best thing for him was getting up early taking his little boat out on the sea and fishing all day.Every sunday he took me and my brother out in the woods to look at all the birds and wild animals.He loved his boxer-dog jesper. He loved classic music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He was a busy man but there were always time for taking good care of his kids.
I have so many good childhood memories and my dad is so precious to my heart.You Died from Cystisk Fibroses. I love you Dad....Hope you and Mom (Ingerlise Skov) are together. Love you always...your daughter Anne

The Fishermans Prayer

God grant that I may fish,
Until my final day;
And when it comes to my last charter,
Then I most humbly pray;
To find the lord's safe landing net,
And there take peaceful sleep,
With the knowledge he may judge,
That this is one to keep
"In the end, all we have is memories..."
