Josiah Brockway was the son of Titus and Nancy B.Wilson Brockway. Josiah married Mary Harrington, daughter of John and Elizabeth McNeill Harrington on September 13, 1857 in Lee County, Iowa. Josiah and Mary were the parents of ten children: Electa Anna Celestial, Lynas L., Franklin Ozro, Fannie, John Boyd, Harry Harrison, Nellie A., Ada Bertha, Dora Euretha and William Garfield.
