Laurie Gibson
Laurie T. Gibson of 127 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi died at the Veterans Hospital in Oakland, Pittsburgh, on Thursday, Feb. 16, 1984. He was 86.
Born in Bentleyville on May 20, 1897, he was the son of the late William and Bess Wilkins Gibson.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Gibson was a member of the American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi.
He was a resident of Charleroi since 1951 and was a car salesman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wilson Gibson; a son William and a brother, Raymond Gibson.
Surviving are two sons, James of Bentleyville and RObert of Charleroi; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends are being received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Home, 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
