Funeral services for Jane Gamble Cherry, 92, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Monsignor John McCaffrey will officiate. Burial will be at College Station Cemetery. Mrs. Cherry passed away Sunday, January 27, at her residence.

Mrs. Cherry was born in Dallas to William Oscar and Bess Harris Gamble. She attended LeCordon Bleu in Paris. She was an accomplished chef and had been a food critic for the L.A. Times. She was also a journalist for Globe Magazine. She has lived in Bryan since 1972. She was a homemaker and a faithful member St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Heston Cherry, on February 14, 1991.
