I assume she was the daughter of James and Cora Nichols who are also buried in this family plot. James would have been about 62 and Cora 54 when Alice was born - so - this could be a grand daughter but I am not sure.

Note from Bladestwin:

I just received a note from a Nichols' relative of James E Nichols. He states that Alice N. is buried with James and Cora. The adopted infant was the child of 2 friends who were both killed in a train crash. The child died as a 1 or 2 year old. (Feb 2013).
