Ernest Porter Ryan, Sr., 89, of Harrodsburg, widower of Lona Mae Ryan LouAllen Ryan, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born July 11, 1922 in Lexington, he was the son of the late Jack William and Betty Jane Bishop Ryan. He owned and operated the Fleetline Cab Company in Harrodsburg.
Survivors include: a son, Ernest W. Ryan and a brother: Jack Ryan of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Porter Gene Ryan and two brothers, Homer and Richard Ryan.
