Erma V. ALDERFER, 81, 2970 West 600 North, Rochester, died at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday at Healthwin Hospital, South Bend. She was born in Fulton County to John and Ethel RAMSEY McKEE. She was the youngest of 11 children. On Jan. 21, 1935, in Valparaiso, she married Lester H. ALDERFER, who died April 18, 1991. She was a homemaker and member of the Richland Center Reekah Lodge. Surviving are a daughter, Marcella LOWERY, Granger, and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara J. BAKER, 1992, and a son, James ALDERFER, 1983. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. C.J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be at the Richland Center Cemetery, seven miles northwest of Rochester. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and for one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
