Marilyn Jean Agnew, 74, of Villisca died Aug. 18, 2011, in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 22, at Villisca Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Nodaway Cemetery. Wolfe Funeral Home, 201 E. Fourth St., Villisca, was in charge of arrangements.
Marilyn Jean Cihak Agnew, daughter of Thelma A. (Yarrington) and Fred W. Cihak, was born Aug. 8, 1937, in Nevinville.
On Dec. 28, 1957, Marilyn married Kenneth M. Agnew.
Marilyn is survived by her children Ray D. (wife Sharon) Agnew of Clarinda and Kay L. (husband Alan) Metz of Sioux City; grandchildren, Michael R. Agnew of Sioux Falls, S.D., Steven L. (wife Angie) Agnew and great-grandson Grant Agnew of Carroll, Jennifer R. Agnew of Clarinda and grandpups Samson and Sota of Sioux City; sister Lola (husband Cliff) Baldwin of Des Moines; nephews, James and Dale; many other family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Delmar Arnott; husband and brother Freddy Cihak.
