Hinesville - Christine Othel Hodges, 68, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Verta Sims of Ellabell, GA. She was a Bryan County native but lived many years in Hinesville. She was a homemaker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Pembroke. Survivors include her husband of 50 years Willie L. "Bill" Hodges of Hinesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and David Fountain of Pembroke, Joannie and Drexel Blocker of Glennville, Tammy and Tony Isgett of Hinesville and Barbara Kay Hodges of Hinesville; sisters, Pat Akins and Agnes Todd of Ellabell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Clara Nell Sims, Vernon and Tera Sims, Dewey and Linda Sims of Ellabell, and Norwood Sims of Savannah; grandchildren, Kasey Fountain of Pembroke, Keli Callaway of Ellabell, Jena and Jeremy Blocker of Glennville, Britnie Isgett of Hinesville, Jason Hodges, Mitchell Gon zales, Kandice Gilbert of Hinesville; great-grandchildren, Amber, Abbie and Alex Callaway of Ellabell, Kaitlyn and Javier Gilbert of Hinesville, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2004 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dan Bryant and Rev. Dean Herring officiating. Burial: Black Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jason Hodges, Mitchell Gonzales, Michael Sims, Kasey Fountain, Jeremy Blocker and Steve Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Todd, Shane Akins, Larry Sims, Steve Sims, Dale Sims, Barry Sims, Greg Sims, Mike Horton, Keith Sims, Glenn Sims, and Billy Todd.
