VERDA TUCKER Passed away peacefully Sunday morning, December 30, 2001, at age 84, in her home following a brief illness. An Alameda resident for over 60 years, she was the matriarch of the Tucker family that established Tucker's Ice Cream in 1941. The colorful mother of Sharon Landes, David Tucker, Kathy Garrett, and Alan Tucker. She had eight wonderful grand children and eight precious great grandchildren.
