On Aug 27, 1967, at the St.Boniface Hospital, Mr.Thomas Porteous, aged 74 years, late of Central Park Lodge. Funeral service will be held Thurs at the Pineview Memorial Chapel, Waverley & Chevrier Blvd., with Rev.H.Newton officiating. Cremation to follow. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, coming to Canada 50 years ago. Served in the 1st World War with the Ft.Garry Horse from 1915-1918. He is a life member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM. Mr. Porteous is survived by a daughter, Mrs. F. Ellis of Newport Beach, California; 3 grandchildren; 1 sister Mrs. Helen Lord of Peterborough, Ontario.
