Robert Armin Grossell, 45, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island Humane Society.
Robert was born on Nov. 27, 1965, in Rock Island, the son of Armin and Dolores Hoss Grossell.
Mr. Grossell was a 1983 graduate of Rock Island High School. He later attended Black Hawk College.
Robert was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed their family pets and listening to music.
Survivors include his siblings (and their spouses), Dr. Michael J. (Colleen) Grossell, Rutherfordton, N.C., Katherine A. (John) Freeman, Rock Island, Richard A. Grossell, Rock Island, Suzanne M. Butler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mary A. (Rod) Carey, Rock Island, Jeanne M. Grossell, Rock Island, Elizabeth A. (Randy) Heggen, Milan; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Patricia L. Grossell.
