Per obit: Melvin Kriegbaum, age 61, of 506 Sheets Street, Union, passed away Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was an employee of Delco Products for 34 years and was a Sunday School teacher and Director of Church Services at Valerie Nursing Home. Survived by his wife Wanda; mother Bernice Kriegbaum, Dayton; 2 daughters Raeanna Hatmaker and Zella Minnier, both of Englewood; 1 son Earl, New Carlisle; 3 sisters Dorothy Harvey and Mary Jane Johnson, New Carlisle and Ethel Ward, Dayton, KY; 1 brother Earl Kriegbaum, Woodington, OH; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services Friday 1:30 PM at the Northridge Church of the Nazarene, Maplegrove Ave., Rev. Earl McKinney officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Englewood. Friends may call at the Hoyne Funeral Home, 1817 E. Third Street, Thursday, 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name at the church.
