A resident of the township of Concord, in Jefferson County, Mrs. Joseph Baneck, 58, died at her home on Monday, June 6, she was born in the township of Concord, Jefferson County, on August 27, 1890, the daughter of Charels and Wilhelmina Schlender Scheel. Her marriage to Joseph Baneck took place on July 1, 1909 at St. Luke's church, Rome, of which church she was a member.
Funeral services were held today (Thursday) from the Lyke funeral home to St. Luke's church at Rome at 2 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating clergyman was the Rev. Herman Thedings.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. Edgar Kramer, Concord; Mrs. Carl Schildbach, Farmington; Mrs. Ellsworth Bente, Oconomowoc; and Mrs. Irvin Pinnow, Sullivan; one son, Ernst Baneck, Summit; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Edward Sell and Mrs. Gust Stiemke of Concord; Mrs. Edward Kroll, Oconomowoc, Mrs. Wiliam Meintz, Sullivan; and Mrs. Mary Nelson, Delavan; and two brothers, William Scheel and Charles Scheel of Sullivan.
