Joseph Baneck

OCONOMOWOC - Joseph Baneck, 94, route 1, Sullivan, died Friday at Watertown Skilled Care Center.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Chruch in rome with Rev. C. David Jacobson officiating. Interment will be in St. Luke's Cemetery.
Friends may call to pay their respects at teh Notbohm Funeral Home in Oconowoc at 4 p.m. Monday. The body will lie in state at the church Tuesday from noon until the time of services.
He was born Dec. 4 , 1881, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Baneck, town of Concord. He was married July 1, 1909 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Rome to the former Pauline Schels. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1949. He was also preceded in death be a daugher, Clara Kramer, one son, Carl, five brothers, and five sisters.
Survivors include one son, Ernest of route 3, Watertown, three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Odelia) Schildbach of Helenville, Mrs. Ellsworth (Frieda) Bente of Oconomowoc, and Mrs. Irwin (Grace) Pinnow of Helenville, nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.
Memorial is desired, may be given to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Rome.
He was a farmer in the town of Concord and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Rome.
