FRANCES BAILEY

Frances Turner Bailey of Itasca died Tuesday, March 18, at a Hillsboro hospital. Born March 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Edna Compton Turner,and had lived most of her life in the Itasca area. She attended school at the Rockwall School east of Itasca and graduated from Itasca High School in 1938. October 14, 1938, she married Arvis Bailey, who preceded her in death September 25, 1988. She was a member of Itasca Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy E. Turner. Survivors are: one son, James R. Bailey of Dallas; two daughters, Donna Crawford and husband, Lawrence, Itasca and D. Jean Bailey of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe R. Turner of Alvarado; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Itasca Cemetery with Buddy Fry officiating.
