Shreveport- Services for Cecil R. Shinn, 86, will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 1989. Officiating will be the Rev. Johnny Baker of the Southside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.
Mr. Shinn passed away Tuesday, May 2, 1989 at the Highland Hospital. He was a resident of Shreveport for 69 years and a member of the Cedar Grove Masonic Lodge, El Karubah Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star and Mithra Grotto.
He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Reola Shinn of Shreveport; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Cy Morrison of Shreveport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cecil and Lorraine Shinn of Las Vegas, Nevada and Frank and Barbara Shinn of Merryville, La., nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
