Samantha C. Williamson of Cross Anchor, SC was resident housekeeper for John and Nancy Kelly after the Civil War. She followed the Kelly family to De Soto County, MS in 1872, and married their son, Charles Wesley Kelly on 3-26-1873. She and Charles continued to migrate west with the Kellys to Sebastian Co., AR, in 1879, and finally to Montgomery County, AR, in 1886. There they homesteaded on land close to historic Macedonia Cemetery.
She and Charles had the following children:

2) Mora Wightman Kelly (1881-1940) w. Jennie Maddox (1883-1977)
