William E. Rowe Rites Set Friday
William Edward Rowe, 81, retired farmer died Wednesday at his home on Route 1.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Wheatland Methodist Church with Rev. Howard Conner and the Rev. Charles Wesley Garrett officiating.
Burial will be in Wheatland Cemetery.
Born in Perry County, Pennsylvania, Rowe came to Texas in 1896 and settled near Dallas.
He farmed until 1944 when he retired.
Surviving are his wife, a son Herman E. Rowe, Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Fitzhugh, Dallas, and Mrs. Lois Byrum, Duncanville; and a sister, Mrs. Katie Wentz, Elizabethtown, Pa.
