Braddyville (Special) -- Duane D. Lister, 32, former Braddyville resident, died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Saturday. He has been ill for several weeks.
Survivors are his wife, former Loraine Murren of Clarinda, one daughter [Cheryl], five years old, and son [Mark], two years old; mother, Mrs. Daisy Lister and sister, Joane, of Braddyville; brothers Elliott of Hopkins, and Vernon of Knoxville.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Clarinda in charge of Rev. Lester Greenwood.

Duane D. Lister was born July 7, 1920 in Braddyville, Iowa and died at St Joseph hospital, Omaha, at the age of 32 years, nine months, four days.
He was married to Loraine Murren of Clarinda. To them were born two children, Cheryl C. and Mark E.
He is survived by his wife and children; his mother, Mrs Frank Lister; sister, Miss Joan Lister of Braddyville; two brothers, E.J. Lister of Hopkins, Vernon Lister of Knoxville, Iowa.
He entered the service of his country Oct 17, 1942 and served three years. One half of the time was spent overseas in Iran. He was discharged in January 1946.
