Glen Martin Buck was born in Nebraska on May 21, 1905. Glen lived on a farm in the Nebraska area most of his life. Glen grew up to be a farmer. He was the son of Warren Roselle Buck III and Catherine Ophelia Graves.

He married Vivian V. Woton, in Pender Nebraska on May 3, 1924. Glenn died on March 16, 1932, just a couple months shy of his 27th birthday. Vivian was expecting their forth child at the time of his death. Glen and Vivian had four children born to their union. Albert Hillman Buck, Darlene Lorane Buck, Glen Martin Jr. and Jimmy Derrel.

Farm Hand Fatally Hurt When Stuck in the Abdomen

Accidentally struck in the abdomen with a piece of wood while sawing some trees for firewood, Glenn Buck, 27 year farm had was fatally injured on a farm near Dakota City Wednesday afternoon.

Buck was feeding tree limbs to a buzz saw when one of the chunks was hurled with great force, striking him in the abdomen. He died about 15 minutes later.

The farm hand had been employed on the farm of Claude Heiikes, south of Dakota City, but was helping a neighbor cut wood when the accident occurred. He is survived by a widow and four children
