Mrs. Albert Barker, after a lingering illness of a year died Friday evening November 19, at the age of 44 years, 2 months and three days..
She was born in Morris, Illinois 16 September 1882. She was converted, baptized, and joined the Swedish Baptist church at Morris, Illinois at the age of 11 years. She graduated from the Morris high school and taught four years.
On the 26th of July in 1905 she married Albert Barker and three years later they moved to Arthur. They joined the Arthur church the same year. Three children were born to this union.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Arthur Baptist Church with Rev. Nordland officiating.
She leaves 2 daughters to mourn her death, Elva and Gertrude, one son Milford, and 3 sisters, Mrs. A. J. Edstrom of Stromsberg, Neb; Mrs. Seth Johnson, and Mrs. Albin Malmquist of Kiron, besides other relatives.
