"Fred H Morris, 79, of Centerville, RD 1, Rome Township, died at St Vincent Health Center in Erie Saturday, May 30, 1992. He was born in Rome Township on July 6, 1912, a son of the late Clarence and Enza Heliker Morris. Mr Morris was raised and educated in the Centerville and Titusville area. He worked on the family dairy farm after schooling and then drove a milk truck for 32 years and also hauled paperwood to Erie. He raised herefords and quarter horses on the farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Maxine M Heliker Morris, whom he married on Aug 4, 1949, in Panama, NY; a daughter, Mrs Steven (Margaret) J Swantek of Spartansburg; five sons, Paul W Morris of Tidioute, Kirk R Morris of Warren, Randy C Morris of Milford, Conn, William H Morris of Oil City and Andrew T Morris of Centerville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Bracken Funeral Home, Corry...and attend a service there Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev Vincent F Pomeroy, pastor of Rometown Community Church, Rome Township, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg."
