David Duane Scofield, 49, passed away on November 12, 2011 in Sandy, Utah.

He was born May 4, 1962 in Hollywood, California to Carol Lynn Robertson and Gary Duane Scofield. Dave married Rhoda Gardner on November 7, 1992 in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple.

Dave was a kind and loving husband to his sweetheart of nineteen years and blessed the lives of everyone he knew by the way he loved unconditionally.

He battled cancer for fifteen and a half years with extraordinary courage and determination. He was an inspiration to all and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Rhoda, mother and step-father, Carol and Neil Goodsell, father and step-mother Gary and Sue Scofield, brothers Steve (Shelley) Scofield and Michael (Monique) Scofield, sisters Susan (Todd) Abney and Jennifer Brooks, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Hidden Creek Ward Chapel, 8950 South 400 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale, Utah, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
