Funeral services for Fayrene McDonald, 78, of Frankston were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Assembly of God in Frankston with Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating.
Burial was in the Frankston City Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Frankston.
Mrs. McDonald died Monday, Oct. 6, in a Tyler hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Martin Springs, Texas to Jack Ellis Weesner and Ada Vera Smith Weesner. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God, Frankston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McDonald; and a son, Larry Joe McDonald.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Dale and Kay McDonald of Frankston; a daughter-in-law, Pam McDonald of Frankston; brothers, Kenneth Weesner and wife, Jean of Tyler, Reagan Weesner of Tyler, Harold Weesner and wife, Donna of Whitehouse; a sister, Valena Junemann and husband, Raymon of LaMarque; six grandchildren, Joel Brent McDonald, Larry Grant McDonald, Laura Jill McDonald, Kimberly Dale Courtin, Keith David McDonald and Kevin Cook McDonald; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Keith McDonald, Grant McDonald, Kevin McDonald, Patrick Courtin, Joel McDonald and Mike Cook.
Honorary pallbearers were Brothers and Sisters of the Assembly of God.
Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God, Frankston.
