Dies in Her Home
At Age of 85 Years
Mrs. Minnie DeGoller Alger, 85,
a lifelong resident of Bradford,
died at her home at 109 Williams
St. at 1:80 a.m. yesterday. She had
been ill for a year and in serious
condition for a week.
Mrs. Alger was born here Oct.
5, 1879, the daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs; Marion DeGoller,
and was the widow of Charles H.
Alger.
She was a member of Flrst Presbyterian
Church and its Credo
Class and Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving are three daughters,
the Misses Bernlce, Dorothy and
Doris Alger, all at home, and a
half-brother, Ray Chamberlain of
Bradford.
Funeral services will be held at
the home at 3 p.m. tomorrow. The
Rev. Noel A. Calhoun Jr. will officiate
and burial will be in Oak
Hill Cemetery.
