Viola May Norman DeBord, age 78, of Xenia, OH and recently of West Carrollton, OH passed away October 24, 2006. She was born May 21, 1928 in Beattyville, KY, the daughter of Leslie and Isabelle (Jameson) Norman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerome Clifford DeBord in 1998; two sons: Tony Edwin DeBord in 1977 and Jerry W. (Mick) DeBord in 2004; two sisters: Daisy and MaryBell and four brothers: Raymond, Edd, James and Paul.
Survivors include two sons: Larry T. (Diane) of Dayton, OH and David C. (Margie) of West Carrollton; three granddaughters: Hollie (Matt) Holbrook of Miamisburg, OH; Toni (Mike) Meiser of Dayton; and Kelly DeBord of Dayton; and a great-granddaughter: Ashlynn Taylor Jones of Miamisburg.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. October 26, 2006 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. The Rev. Tom Gresham officiating. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. October 26, 2006 until the time of service at the funeral home.
